Thank you Heidi for writing in such a real way about writing. It's heartening and inspiring, and gives me more breath to write myself. Writing, which I love, can so easily become something I have to do, something that only happens if I trudge onward girded with unconquerable willpower. But this rarely leaves room for any authentic voice to come through. Without realizing it then, I've gotten in the way of myself, the writing, and even those who might read it. Thank you for this reminder.
